It’s so interesting to see how we’re seeing more and more cases where mental health and physical health are connceted! An interesting study was recently done by Dr. David Robertson regarding how lower back pain and depressive sympomts are correlated in young adults. Their reaserch found a shocking 21% of people 18-26 years old reported interemediate to chronic episodes of moderate to severe back pain. It is an interesting read that brings insight about the potential connection between these conditions. Their research also brings a new light on how to manage lower back pain, and possibly prevent chronic back pain in the future.
